Frequently asked questions

Can you send me a brochure with all your villas?

Renting in Ibiza strives to be as environmentally friendly as possible, so our portfolio is paperless. In addition, we constantly renew our villa collection, so that the information you read online is always as up-to-date as possible.

Why are your villas listed under different names than those on the house?

In addition to being a security measure, this is also intended to protect the highly valued privacy of the owners of each villa. Once you have confirmed and paid for your booking with Renting on Ibiza, we will provide you with full property details, including address and directions. Please trust that the information in our guide is correct in relation to the general area. For privacy and security reasons, we do not share exact GPS data on the site.

How do I know if a home is suitable for me?

Each of the properties in the Renting on Ibiza portfolio has been personally visited by a member of our staff to ensure it meets the high standards of our discerning clientele. At the same time we make a thorough assessment of the villa to provide you with all the relevant information you need to know and we believe that our detailed descriptions and photography certainly do it justice. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact us, thanks to our in-depth knowledge of each property - inside and out - and let us tell you what you need to know.

Do you accept pets in your accommodations?

It depends on the owner of the property. Check the 'Pets' section in the statistics column of the villa of your choice to see if the owner allows you to bring your furry friend. In many cases we can request approval as soon as we have more information about the type and number of pets you want to bring with you. Please note that if a villa is pet friendly it does not mean it is pet proof or gated. We ask that you keep your animals under supervision and control at all times, do not leave them unattended in the villa and dispose of any rubbish in a hygienic manner... just as you would at home!

Are there discounts available if you book early or last minute?

Due to the high demand for our properties, our rates are set at the beginning of the season and are not flexible. We recommend that you book early to ensure you do not miss your selected holiday dates. However, if you are planning a last minute getaway, please contact us directly and we may be able to accommodate you, subject to the availability of our accommodations and approval from the owners.

Why are there fees associated with paying with my credit card?

Sorry – it's not our fault! These charges come directly from the credit card company - they are not charges applied to your account by Renting on Ibiza. If you prefer not to pay these costs, you can pay your deposit, balance and security deposit by bank transfer.

If I cancel my booking and it doesn't fill up, can I book again later?

When you cancel, this is final; there is no way back. The property will immediately come back up for rent before those dates and the owners will be notified of your decision. If you decide you would like to book again, you will need to complete the booking process again by contacting one of our team members.

We are a group of professionals. Do we really have to pay the deposit?

Yes. The deposit is mandatory for all our guests, regardless of age, background or profession. We understand that minor breakages (defined as damage, breakage or additional cleaning worth €25) may occur and these will not be deducted from your security deposit. However, we ask that you inform us of any minor breakages, such as glasses, so that we can replace them accordingly for the next guests.

Why do you need to know so much personal information about our group?

Firstly, it is an insurance and health and safety requirement to inform us at all times in the event of an emergency of who is staying in any of our properties. In addition, Renting on Ibiza are the valued homes of private Ibiza residents and the owners would like to have insight into the distribution of your group. Certain properties may have restrictions on events such as stag or hen parties, and your detailed information will also help us find the right accommodation to suit your group.

Are friends allowed to visit us in the villa?

This is subject to the prior consent of the accommodation owner. Let us know so we can request permission for guests to visit you on the property. Additional guests are not permitted to stay overnight unless we have been notified in advance of their full details as a member of your party for health, safety and insurance reasons. This is a non-negotiable clause in your contract with us. Customers are asked to vacate a property if they violate this agreement.

Can we change our arrival day?

The majority of villas within our portfolio – and in fact in Ibiza in general – are set up and managed for week long stays with a Saturday changeover to maximize the number of bookings for the owners. Last minute bookings may offer some flexibility regarding the day of arrival, at the owners' discretion.

Can we stay for less than seven nights?

Most of our accommodations require a minimum of seven nights, especially in high season. Depending on the property of your choice and the time of year, shorter stays may be approved by the owner upon request.

Can we check in early or check out late?

Our check-in and check-out times are set so that our team has sufficient time between bookings to prepare the villa to the highest standards for the arrival of the next party. These times can be adjusted to your arrival time upon request, depending on the availability of the accommodation and the discretion of the owners. Early check-in or late check-out must be requested prior to the date and will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Please note: A late check-in fee of €50 applies for arrivals between 10 PM and 1 AM, and a late check-in fee of €100 applies for arrivals or departures between 1 AM and 7 AM.
